CHRISTMAS FOOD BOXES

Since 2020, in the run up to Christmas, we have distributed food to hundreds of households living in a deprived part of Kampala, Uganda. Many people in Uganda are struggling to feed their families. The cost of basic food has risen dramatically whilst incomes are falling and many are struggling to find paid work. This year - 2023 -  we will again be distributing a box of food to as many families as possible through our link church that operates in this densely populated part of Kampala. Each box costs £16 and will contain staple items like rice, maize and soap but the box will also include things which are considered luxury treats, such as margarine soda and soft drinks.
