Stephen Jota Children's Centre Projects "Transforming Communities"

Picture
Maize Mill
The Maize Mill was funded by Christ Church Chislehurst and the Chislehurst Churches Charity Shop.

Currently 40% of the flour produced comes from maize grown on our land and 60% from maize bought from the Family Co-operative.  In turn this supplies 40% of the total needed by the Children's Centre.  The workers are paid according to production.

Future plans include building storage facilities on spare land to the rear of the Maize Mill building.

"If we don't show the children love they will never know in the whole world that there is anything called love.  That's why I want to build the Children's Centre to show the love of God to the children in our country." Stephen Jota, Uganda.
